Short Summary

Our Business Development Managers are key to the future success of our business, pro-actively identifying sales opportunities using a variety of tools including market intelligence, procurement and tender advertisements and leveraging our existing customer base to increase our sales and expand our product penetration within our chosen markets.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Liaising with C-suite level contacts, translating our products’ value proposition into the UK healthcare market, securing profitable sales and managing the whole sales cycle from inception through to delivery.
  • Identifying sales leads, potential new markets and trends by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
  • Qualifying sales opportunities to validate market strategy, deal requirements, financials and evaluating delivery and deployment options including 3rd party delivery partners
  • Providing proposals and quotations with associated pricing for the delivery of the proposed solutions in line with our margin and profitability expectations
  • Managing the complete sales cycle, collaborating with our development and deployment teams to define and refine specifications, agreeing contracts and deliverables in accordance with agreed timelines
  • Achieving incremental and new sales targets

Experience

  • Proven track record within the B2B software provider market, results driven and customer focused with a proven track record of delivering profitable sales.
  • Extensive experience selling to the NHS and familiarity with NHS procurement methods and funding frameworks
  • Familiarity with strategic sales methodologies including Miller-Heiman, Target Account Selling or similar
  • A full driving licence and appropriate vehicle insured for business use
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience within Radiology or Pathology is preferred but not essential
