Cardiology Dashboards

Integrated with Genie® and Gentu®

Deliver smarter cardiac care

Cardiology Dashboards bring efficiency and deeper clinical insight to your practice. By harnessing the power of your practice’s information, the Cardiology Dashboards give users a fast, integrated view of critical patient information, helping to support earlier interventions and reduce clinical risk. With just a few clicks, you can effectively track and identify high-risk patients, helping your clinic to provide care with clarity.

Cardiology Dashboards

Each purpose-built dashboard extracts and organises key clinical data, enabling faster, more informed decision-making for specific cardiac conditions. Each dashboard is informed by the guidelines relevant for each individual disease area.

FAQs

Yes, it’s free for all Genie and Gentu practices who opt-in.

First, complete the opt-in form for your practice. You will then receive a document for an Authorised Representative of a Practice to sign, granting permission for data to be turned into insights. Once permission has been granted our data team will then set up the Cardiology Dashboards for your practice.

All practices will first need to opt in. For Genie, practices will need to be running Genie v11 or above to enable the Dashboards. If you are not yet on V11, it is quick and easy to update Genie versions. Learn how to update to the latest Genie version using our Knowledgebase.

Practices will only need to opt-in once to have the Dashboards integrated to their Genie or Gentu platform. However, each dashboard is launching at different times so practices that have opted-in will automatically gain access to additional Cardiology Dashboards as they become available.

Each dashboard contains only data that comes from your practice’s database and only data needed to create the dashboard is used. This data may be sourced from wherever it is stored in your practice’s Genie or Gentu database, which includes data entered by any of its users, and includes both structured data (e.g. measurements) and unstructured data (e.g. consultation notes).

We have used current AI technology to extract and process that data as accurately as possible, including from data found only in free text format. Since AI isn’t perfect, there may be circumstances where processing errors have been made, and the data on the dashboard is inaccurate. The dashboard shows you the source of AI processed data where relevant (ie the source letter or note) so you can see where it came from. It is important that you verify the results with your Genie or Gentu records before taking any action. It is also important that you use your own clinical judgment and not rely upon the dashboard as a substitute for such judgement.

Data is synced weekly to enable timely review of your patients.

We adhere to good industry practice in relation to data security and the prevention of data loss as specified.  Our information security management system is also certified compliant with ISO/IEC 27001: 2022 (international standard for information security management systems and their requirements). All of your data is securely stored in Australian data centres.

All data processing is conducted in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Identifiable patient data is subject to rigorous de-identification. These techniques may include removal or masking of direct identifiers, data minimisation to ensure that individuals are no longer reasonably identifiable. Advanced analytical methods, including artificial intelligence (AI), are then applied to extract clinically relevant insights. Where permitted and necessary for clinical use, data may be securely re-associated with the original patient record to enable the delivery of actionable insights via the practice dashboard. All handling of identifiable information is subject to strict access controls and audit protocols.

Yes, filters and options available on the dashboards can be used to tailor the report to meet individual practice needs.

Yes, once you have created a list of patients of interest, you can export it into Excel for further analysis or actions (eg creating a recall list).

No, only reports that contain aggregated, de-identified data relating to the dashboard will be shared with the dashboards sponsors. No information that can identify you or your patients will be shared with any third party, including sponsors of the dashboard.
