About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our Gentu Practice Management team. You’ll help build and evolve our industry-leading SaaS platform used by medical specialists across Australia. You’ll work closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver high-impact features and continuously improve the developer experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality features using Ruby on Rails, Typescript, Node.js, and AWS
- Collaborate with your team to solve problems and share knowledge
- Design, build, test, and maintain scalable software solutions
- Influence team practices and contribute to continuous improvement
- Manage cross-team dependencies and communicate clearly with stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging technologies and DevOps practices
About You
You’re a purpose-driven developer who thrives in agile environments and enjoys working with modern tech to solve real-world problems.
You’ll bring:
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Typescript, Node.js, and React
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Solid understanding of software development practices (TDD, CI/CD, DevOps)
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- A formal qualification in Computer Science or related field
