Short Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to lead the evolution of our market leading Radiology Product (CRIS) that is used by 80% of NHS Trusts.

Our Product Managers co-own the growth and profitability of their specific product, ensuring that we define, develop and evolve our products in line with our corporate strategy, product roadmap, changing governance requirements, competitor activity and market trends.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Contributing to the overall product strategy ensuring our products outperform competitors in the market
  • Acting as a Thought Leader/ SME promoting our products and their role in delivering an efficient, digital and integrated healthcare system
  • Setting, communicating, driving & monitoring product strategic plan including the vision, goals and initiatives for each product
  • Identifying and mapping the competitive landscape for the product against key competitors including analysis of ‘lost opportunities’
  • Assisting in the development of the strategic sales plan to identify target segments, key sales opportunities and support tactical marketing activity to deliver the sales plan
  • Maintaining the high-level product roadmap, driving release planning preparation, defining the product epics and features
  • Collaborating with product owners and our development teams to analyse customer requirements, design features and workflow and ensuring compliance with our product development roadmap
  • Setting and monitoring market performance indicators such as product sales growth, upgrade adoption and product usage, and addressing areas of concern to continuously improve product family profitability
  • Supporting pre-sales activity as the technical expert for the product, gathering customer needs, design and prioritising functionality, supporting product demonstrations, explaining features and benefits and the product evolution roadmap

What experience do I need:

  • Commercially minded
  • Previous experience as a Product Manager within a software development organisation
  • Experience in the Healthtech industry, ideally Radiology but others considered
  • Experience of designing and defining new products
  • Effective influencer
  • Effective stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of leading, coaching and inspiring a small team
  • Understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or Computer Science or related subject (desirable)
  • A broad range of clinical or healthcare domain knowledge (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of Aha! (Product Management Software) (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of Jira (desirable)
