Short Summary: 

The Senior Marketing Manager is a critical role responsible for developing the overarching strategy of all marketing campaigns for Magentus EMEA.

This role requires an all-rounder. Capable of strategy but also able to roll up their sleeves and implement a broad range of marketing and communication plans across various channels, including press, email, digital channels (social/Web) as well as internal channels.

With the central marketing team based in Australia, the Senior Marketing Manager will need to work autonomously to drive measurable results across the EMEA business.

The ability to drive projects forward and partner with the EMEA Senior Management team to deliver on the business requirements is crucial to success.

Data and results driven, you will look to establish marketing fundamentals with the view to build on this over the longer term.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop strategic marketing plans to support business objectives and commercial outcomes (including but not limited to: new business growth, customer retention, cross sell, brand building).
  • End to end campaign management across a wide variety of marketing channels (email, social, events, website).
  •  Manage and support a range of senior stakeholders across the business, partnering with them on all communications plans and keeping them informed on activities and results.
  • Reporting against campaign KPIs, analysing and optimising our ROI.
  • Create and test key messaging and product USPs that are consistent across all channels.
  • Develop content for a variety of channels including campaign content, internal emails, press releases, social posts, case studies, thought leadership, video scripting.
  • Build our new brand with core customers, prospective clients and the broader industry.
  • Manage external events (branding, narrative) when required. Work with and direct the office manager on the organisational elements of these events.

What experience do I need:

  • At least 10 years’ experience working in a modern marketing functions or agency. Experience in healthcare industry is essential.
  • Ability to write strategic marketing plans linked to business objectives
  • Experience in implementing E2E marketing campaigns across various channels – email, socials, website, events
  • Skills to create basic content e.g. Customer emails, video scripting, social posts, draft press releases
  • Fully computer literate across all Microsoft products including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
