Short Summary

Key Responsibilities of the role:
Innovation & Technology Leadership
- You’ll be the technical leader in a cross-functional team that builds and maintains software products that are key to our business’ success
- You will be accountable for the technical design, implementation, supportability and maintainability of your team’s solutions
- You will drive technical innovation within your team and across the wider engineering community
Product & Technical Delivery
- You’ll build and maintain full stack solutions using Angular, Node.js, Material Design, Webpack, Java, Swagger, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL
- You’ll drive quality and efficiency through the SDLC investing QA best practices, leveraging automation and continually improving ways of working
- You’ll have experience using GitLab or GitHub for version control and Jira for managing the flow of work
- You’ll see value in investing in documentation and knowledge sharing
- Experience building distributed systems using message queuing, event driven architectures is beneficial
Cross Functional Collaboration
- You’ll work closely with platform teams, architects, product owners and business stakeholders to build high-quality, scalable products that deliver real value to our customers and help improve patient outcomes
- You’ll collaborate with enterprise technology teams to continually refine how we build software in a secure and scalable way
- Collaborate with the Integrations & Database teams to ensure seamless integration with third-party platforms
Engineering Excellence
- You’ll actively contribute to our wider engineering capability, enabling other engineers, improving the developer experience, and driving excellence across our teams
- You’ll work closely with the Cloud and Infrastructure teams to improve how we deploy, manage, and optimise our applications and have experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and CLI
- Experience transforming applications to cloud native technologies (ideally AWS) is highly beneficial
