Short Summary

Our Radiology Information System (RIS) is trusted across the industry to streamline workflows, boost efficiency, and make life easier for healthcare professionals and in turn their patients. We’re proud to be at the cutting edge of tech that genuinely improves patient care. 

Now, we’re on the lookout for a talented Developer to join us. If you love solving problems, writing clean code, and collaborating with people who genuinely enjoy what they do (and aren’t afraid to drop the occasional GIF in the group chat), you might be just who we’re looking for. 

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Innovation & Technology Leadership  

  • You’ll be the technical leader in a cross-functional team that builds and maintains software products that are key to our business’ success 
  • You will be accountable for the technical design, implementation, supportability and maintainability of your team’s solutions 
  • You will drive technical innovation within your team and across the wider engineering community 

Product & Technical Delivery  

  • You’ll build and maintain full stack solutions using Angular, Node.js, Material Design, Webpack, Java, Swagger, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL 
  • You’ll drive quality and efficiency through the SDLC investing QA best practices, leveraging automation and continually improving ways of working 
  • You’ll have experience using GitLab or GitHub for version control and Jira for managing the flow of work 
  • You’ll see value in investing in documentation and knowledge sharing 
  • Experience building distributed systems using message queuing, event driven architectures is beneficial 

Cross Functional Collaboration  

  • You’ll work closely with platform teams, architects, product owners and business stakeholders to build high-quality, scalable products that deliver real value to our customers and help improve patient outcomes 
  • You’ll collaborate with enterprise technology teams to continually refine how we build software in a secure and scalable way 
  • Collaborate with the Integrations & Database teams to ensure seamless integration with third-party platforms  

Engineering Excellence  

  • You’ll actively contribute to our wider engineering capability, enabling other engineers, improving the developer experience, and driving excellence across our teams 
  • You’ll work closely with the Cloud and Infrastructure teams to improve how we deploy, manage, and optimise our applications and have experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and CLI  
  • Experience transforming applications to cloud native technologies (ideally AWS) is highly beneficial

  • Experience mentoring other engineers to build high-quality software
