Second major Western Australian health service selects Charm Evolution® oncology solution

A WA health service provider will roll out Charm Evolution® by Magentus to facilities across regional Western Australia, helping deliver safer cancer services for patients across an area spanning more than 2.5 million square kilometres.

As a centralised oncology patient record, Charm Evolution® is designed to help improve care team collaboration, continuity of care and clinical safety, accessible from any location at any time.

WA Country Health Service (WACHS) facilities spread across Albany, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton, Northam, Esperance, Narrogin, Karratha and Broome will join the roll-out, providing connected care between metropolitan and regional sites in WA by building on the same instance of Charm Evolution® being implemented across South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS).

The market-leading Charm Evolution® solution will deliver crucial workflow efficiencies and reporting and analytical tools that will improve compliance and visibility while decreasing downtime and prescribing risk.

Margot Mason, Charm Evolution® Product Lead at Magentus, said:

“This is a positive example of digital innovation driving more equitable care and supporting better health outcomes. Wherever patients live in Western Australia, they will be better connected with health professionals and their information will be available in more direct and efficient ways.

“We are delighted to be helping the health workforce provide accessible and quality care to people affected by cancer who are living in rural and remote areas, delivering optimal cancer care closer to wherever they call home.”
