Send pathology eRequests: Order pathology tests directly from Genie® or Gentu® and send them digitally to your patient’s preferred Sonic lab. Your patient receives an SMS with their request, and you get real-time visibility on every order from submission through to result — no printing, no scanning, no chasing.
Receive results: Pathology results from Sonic’s laboratory network are delivered directly into your patient’s clinical record as soon as they’re available.

Genie®
To activate pathology eRequests in Genie®, you’ll need to be on version 10.2.2 or above. If you’re running Genie® 10.2.7 or above, pathology eRequests are available by default — no additional steps required.
