Lumus Imaging is the latest radiology provider to adopt Magentus’s eRequests, extending the reach of Australia’s first Open FHIR API standards-based eRequesting solution into more diagnostic services. This latest collaboration, supported by Kailo Medical, marks another significant step toward a fully connected healthcare ecosystem.
Following the successful launch with Queensland X-Ray, which went live earlier this year, Lumus Imaging is embracing eRequests to deliver a seamless, patient-first experience while reducing administrative complexity for clinicians. With eRequests, referring specialists can share key patient information securely and instantly with Lumus Imaging. Patients gain immediate access to their digital requests, empowering them with complete transparency. This means fewer delays, less paperwork, and a smoother path to care.
Kailo Medical has enabled this collaborative care through the KailoHub, by streamlining diagnostic investigation workflows with Lumus Imaging and specialists. Using nationally endorsed FHIR API standards, specialist referrers now benefit from improved transparency and consistency across the request process.
Driving Smarter Workflows
For practices using Genie and Gentu practice management platforms, eRequests provides real-time visibility into radiology and pathology request status, ensuring clinicians know when patients have attended their appointments. Key benefits include:
- Streamlined collaboration between referrers and diagnostic providers
- Real-time tracking for improved care coordination
- Secure two-way messaging for faster communication
- Reduced administrative burden, freeing time for patient care
- Greater patient choice, with digital requests transferable across providers
This latest milestone reinforces Magentus’s commitment to frictionless connectivity and intelligent healthcare, paving the way for broader adoption across radiology and beyond.
